I requested a quote from Carlos on a concrete project and installing some channel drains around my garage. He was very responsive and gave a fair price. The total project was around 330 sq ft of concrete and channel drain installation. I would definitely recommend him and his crew, as they completed the work quickly and on time and were completely understanding of the scope of work that needed to be completed.

We added a curved walkway to act as a walkway and also keep our rock garden from spilling over. I waited a few months to review the cement work just to make sure things looked as good as they did when the sidewalk was first completed. And it does. Just looks excellent. Mendez construction did a fantastic job and created a usable, inviting space. They did everything we asked. There was some confusion about pricing at the beginning but we are glad we got things clarified because this was one of those rare times since moving to San Diego when the work and craftsmanship went above our expectations.

Carlos Mendez was amazing to work with. He was kind, respectful to me, my family and my property and has a tremendous work ethic. He expanded our patio, built a very long cement retaining wall and created a dg pathway and dg seating area for us. He and his crew did an excellent job. Everything they did exceeded my expectations, from the prep work, to pouring and finishing the concrete, to making sure the dg area turned out exactly how we envisioned it, to cleaning up once the project was done. I even had him add gopher wire to the dg area last minute and he happily made it happen. He also made sure the dg had the stabilizer, without me asking him to include that. He has done a lot of concrete in the past so he was able to help us make decisions based on his knowledge, and he had some great design ideas as well! The whole project turned out amazing and we are very happy we chose Carlos for the job. I will absolutely use him for future projects and I have already recommended him to my family and friends. THANK YOU for all of your hard work and knowledge, Carlos!
