Rick and Bernadette shot our wedding on Coronado Naval Base in 2013 and our pre ceremony shoot at Balboa Park. We not only got them to photograph but also videotape. Their short and standard length video are outstanding. The photographs, similarity, were amazing. They are absolute masters of their craft. They ensured that they were in the best vantage points, to include capturing the Marine sword arch detail and the panoramic view of San Diego Bay. It was nothing short of a storybook wedding. They are cheerful, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. They coordinated with our wedding planner and did a lot of heavy lifting to make sure we had the best day possible, despite a hectic schedule. People are still talking about what a good time they had and the photos that they got from it, many of which were used for their family Christmas cards that year. This year, our home server crashed and they made available the entire album for free. We could not be more grateful, as watching the wedding video that they made and the speeches is our anniversary tradition.We could not be more satisfied and grateful that they captured our special day.

Bernadette and Rick are an AMAZING husband/wife team that we hired as our wedding photographers and I'm so happy we did! They are so calm, professional, and organized. Excellent creative vision and photography. Capturing beautiful moments of joy, love and humor. They worked our wedding as the professional photojournalists they are: subtly moving through the event to capture beauty and emotion that could easily be missed. True pros who were barely noticed.Narrative Images is a very apt name for them. We had high expectations of their product and it was far beyond what we hoped-for. The stories told by their photos are priceless. Their prices was higher than others, but we believe it would be difficult to find better quality at any price.

Bernadette and Rick are one ROCKSTAR team! They have been photographing my husband and I since we got engaged in 2013. We fell in love with their work in our engagement shoot and continued to use them for our wedding, maternity shoots, newborn shoots, and family photo shoots over the years. They are always extremely patient during the shoots and really listen to what you want to capture. The are always open to fun and creative ideas to make the photos more personal. They do a wonderful job telling your story and each shoot has been unique and perfect in its own way. They have a special talent capturing moments that will truly last a lifetime. They are also extremely professional and also very reasonable with their pricing. I would highly recommend Narrative Images to capture your special moments!! I've actually had two photo shoots with Bernadette in the last two months, and both were super fun and turned out great collections. In October, we did a family shoot and baby photos for my niece on the beach in La Jolla. We don't know what was more fun - the shoot itself, or getting the photos back! Bernadette has an eye for creativity in an intimate space, so all of our photos looked natural, authentic, and artistic. A few weeks later, I was in need of professional head shots for work, so I met back up with Bernadette for another session. I was very impressed with how easy it was to switch into a professional setting and make a different type of collection. Bernadette listened to what my vision was for the headshots, and they turned out perfect as well - natural, professional, modern. I would highly recommend her to my friends in the San Diego area, for any occasion!
