Introduction
iDesign
Pattern:
iDesign makes custom personal patterns tailored to individuals. iDesign will cut, sew and custom make your tailored garments.
* iDesign does alterations, usually it will run you between $35-$40 for hemming and such. Items that require extensive tailoring are more pricier.
* If you require a pattern a digital download or store bought pattern is a great idea, and I will move forward it putting it together. These downloads are usually no-refundable from the vendor. I will charge you a nominal fee if I need to alter these patterns.
* iDesign does not do Monogramming so please don't reach out to me if you are wanting this service.
* Agreement:
You will need to sign what is known as an 'Agreement' which states what each of the parties shall provide to move the process forward. It is very simple laymen's language, so please don't see this as a deterrent.
* Upon party signing the Agreement to move the process forward I ask for half the cost 'good faith payment' and balance upon completion of the service/alteration.
Payment:
Several options are listed in the 'Agreement" Thumbtack is one way to make a payment.
*Travel:
If you wish an in-house visit $35 per each visit.
*Quilting
I design and make handmade quilts, like those of Memory Quilts, Special Occasions, Holiday quilts.
*I have worked with lace, satin, chiffon, cotton, burlap, wool, viscose, linen, cotton, leather, vinyl, and other other blends of fabric.
* Please be aware even though I do furniture repair the type of repair I do is "SOFT" outdoor/indoor furniture repair (cushions pillows, swings, patio cushions, etc.).
* I carry some outdoor/indoor materials for soft furniture. Please ask and I will forward you those that let me know if you would like to schedule a consultation.
* I also make curtains and drapery for any area of your home as well as many other small projects I might consider taking on.
* Please feel free to reach out to me for quotes on pricing for individual projects
* I offer sewing lessons to those who wish to learn the basics and beyond (15% discount on classes one month or more). If you wish to learn pattern making from scratch I can also teach you, but serious request only please.

Happy to have found iDesign-Christine is superhelpful and professional, her work is fast, precise and beautiful, she gives great suggestions, and is very knowleageable. Communication was great! Very positive experience, -I recommend iDesign highly, and hope to come to Christine with future projects. (This one was an alteration of an occassion dress, fabric beautiful but tricky, both hemming and coming up with a clever solution for the neckline with a deep plunge.) Thank you, Christine!

Can’t say enough about how pleasant an experience working with Christine was on my mother of the groom dress. She suggested a vendor for the fabric which was delivered early and good quality. She suggested variations on my original plan which were spot on. She came multiple times to our home to make sure the fit was just perfect. Couldn’t ask for more and am so very pleased with the final product which was flawless, finished on time, and for the agreed upon amount.

Use iDesign!!! Christine is the best... I had a couture skirt that I got for under 100, retail was 1500, but needed a little taken out... it fits perfectly! I would never pay so much for a skirt but took a splurge on myself!!
She also shortened a pair of jeans for me and I am wearing them today!!
