- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard pricing for portraits is $395 per hour. Weddings are priced differently so please message me for packages and custom pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process includes a lot of communication! I typically like to send out my calendar to the potential client so they can get a good understanding of my availability. Once they have settled on a date, I send them a questionnaire to learn more about their expectations and get to know them better. A booking proposal will be sent afterward where the contract is signed a retainer fee is paid. The client can choose the location if they wish, or I can always give suggestions to popular spots based on what they are looking for.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Coming from Sacramento, there were not many sights to see. Once I moved to San Francisco, there were so many different sights and beautiful spaces that I started to want to capture them all. I started off doing landscape but always felt something was missing. People! I then picked up some weddings and started doing portraits and it just gained traction slowly but surely ever since. Now I'm back in Sacramento, we've come full circle and I've grown to really appreciate all the natural beauty this city has to offer.
