Introduction
Serving greater Sacramento area, I focus on Wedding, Portrait and Event photography. In other words, I focus on people and their emotions.
For weddings, I combine a photojournalistic style with traditional bridal and family portraiture. In all my photography, my ultimate goal is to capture the real emotion of the moment and allow my photos to stir those emotions forever.
My clients appreciate the superb photography, along with an easy and fun working relationship, combined with a dedication to complete dependability and a commitment to full customer satisfaction.
Most of all, I enjoy the people I get to know through my photography. I love to hear their stories, how couples meet, how families relate, and just who they are as people.
I do my best work when I have an easy and relaxed relationship with my clients. I can capture the best and most natural images when the client is comfortable and feeling good about themselves.

What a wonderful job they did! We are completely in love with how our wedding pictures came out. Doug and his team are amazing! They are professional, punctual, and willing to go the extra mile for their clients. I'm very happy we hired him to take our pictures. Doug was always available to answer any on my questions and concerns. He made us feel like he was there for us on our special day. We can't thank you enough for all the work they did.

Doug did an amazing job as my wedding photographer, videographer, and photo booth. Doug was punctual, professional and was always available to communicate. He provided a preview of my pictures the Monday after my Saturday wedding and got the rest of my photos to me super quick.

We booked a 3 hour session for the photo booth, they shut it down early. I understand that the action was slow but we still had a contract for the 3 hours. It was for my wedding so it was a little upsetting. He tried to buy my silence by not having me pay for a portion of the service. I shouldn't have had to pay the full price anyway because I didn't get the full service time. The booth was good enough but did not care for the early shut down at all.

Sean is correct that we shut the booth down early. We took the last photos at 10:20 pm. After waiting 40 minutes and asking for any additional users, we took the booth down at 11pm vs. the 11:30 commit. As Sean said, he was not happy with this decision, so I offered to reduce payment by 50%. He countered with a 25% reduction and I accepted. This review was the next step. Since my goal is complete customer satisfaction, I have just refunded 100% of all payments made and apologized for any inconvenience. Doug Fairbairn

His assistant was amazing! Compared to him, she made the evening. Otherwise I am still receiving complaints from guests of Douglas's attitude during the event. Definitely put a sour tone to event. For every complaint though his assistant receives a compliment. His work was nice. A lot of closed eyes and awkward kid poses though. He didn't do any extra shots of those mistakes.

Wow! I'm so sorry! I'm not sure which event you're referring to, but I obviously must have had an unusual off night! I'm so glad my assistant helped make up for it! But seriously, please get in touch with me directly. Perhaps I have better versions of the photos you're unhappy with. I sincerely apologize for the sour attitude I displayed. Not acceptable!
