- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All my quilts are custom-made, and I will work with you on a quote depending on your project, materials needed, deadline and more. For custom t-shirt / memory quilts, here are my approximate prices based on size: Baby (~45” x 45"): $350 Small Lap (~45” x 60”): $425 Square Lap (~60” x 60”): $550 Lap (~60” x 75”): $675 Twin (~60” x 90”): $800 Full (~75” x 90”): $975 Queen (~90” x 90”): $1200
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you're looking for a T-shirt or memory quilt - or need quilting, sewing or restoration services - you've come to the right place! Let me know what you're looking for, how many shirts/clothing articles you have (if you want a memory quilt), where you're based and any deadline you have, and I'll take it from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first job as a 14-year-old was at a local quilt shop, where I worked every Sunday and summer through high school. It was there that I learned how to piece, press and use the long arm machine, as well as develop an appreciation for quality, colorful fabrics.
