FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I bid most jobs but I will do service calls for smaller jobs. Those service calls are $75/hr. Some jobs that require some deeper investigating will require me to do a service call charge before I can give a proper bid.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I really like to start with a phone call to discuss the job. That's the best place to start for me to understand what the job will entail. If after the phone call it seems like a good fit for both the client and me, I'll stop by and take a look at the work. From there I can give proper pricing for the work that needs to be done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started construction work with a business that flipped houses. I did that for a few years. From there I worked for 5 years doing maintenance at a college. I was able to take those base skills from flipping houses and really take them to a professional level. The college had commercial buildings, residential houses, dorms and apartments. This wide range of variety really helped me hone my skills in plumbing, electrical, finish work and troubleshooting (plumbing & electrical).
