Fortunately for me, Dynell had studied in England for several months specifically on the topic of how to play the violin pain-free and without stage fright. She teaches violin in a manner which resolved my issues of bow arm tremors and stage fright. I now enjoy being a part of my church community whenever their are musical functions. I choose Jeff because of his introduction "Learn Music From a Pro". That he is "A Pro". Jeff makes lessons interesting and easy to follow. He is patient, always on time. There were several times I was unable to attend a session and he made sure I could make up my time. I found Jeff to be very patient, Professional with his student's. He has the knowledge, ability and desire to pass on to his students. I'm truly grate full I choose Jeff Brent. He, without a doubt is a "Pro" and enjoys what he does. Although I was going to take violin lessons I decided to switch to viola, and Matthew is a wonderful, wonderful viola teacher (as he surely must be for violin too, given his expertise and patience). He is clearly a masterful teacher, as working with adult students presents a whole other range of challenges to an instructor. I've had only two lessons so far and have already made clear progress in the areas I wanted most to improve, and look forward to working with Matthew going forward. My lessons are inspiring with this clearly highly experienced player and performer; they are also fun. Matthew's a warm-hearted and engaging teacher with whom I KNOW I'll continue to make progress.
