FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got a puppy in 1997 and when walking her out and about I met many neighbors. I had just left a job and was not working. People who saw me interact with my pup and other people’s pups, could see how much I truly enjoyed just spending time with them. Neighbors quickly started asking me if I could walk their dogs. I was enjoying my self so much, it became my “job” then my profession. I spent many hours at the local dog park and over the years I realized, it was and has always been more than a job. I grew to really care for every dog I spent time with. Some dogs and cats, I cared for from their puppy-hood until they passed on. I’ve always been a sole walker, which allows me to pick and choose which dogs and cats I care for. Almost thirty years, and I’m a better person for animals allowing me into their lives!
