I chose Roto-Rooter thinking they'd be more reliable than independent contractors, but I was extremely disappointed. They failed to complete the job and misled me with their "Free Service Call" and "$0/On-site estimate" offers, only to try charging for an estimate. I scheduled a gas line installation for a new laundry area, and after confirming the time, I drove 2 hours to the location. I was told to expect a call after 8 AM to coordinate with the tech. On the day of service, I received a message saying I’d be contacted after 4 PM. I waited until 6 PM and followed up, but got no response and no service. I gave them another chance the next Saturday, following up multiple times during the week to confirm the appointment. Dispatch reassured me I was a priority, but again, no one showed up and I received no communication. They did, however, ask me for a review for their Thumbtack profile. A total waste of time and energy.
