Our 6 year old rescue Labrador was afraid of strangers and refused to go for walks because of strangers out walking. After 2 months of working with him ourselves and making no progress we decided to bring in a professional. Many trainers wanted to sell us months long training packages for over $1000. After speaking with Viki on the phone we decided to hire her. In one simple session she was able to show us what we were doing wrong, corrected our interactions with the dog and resolved the fear problem. She is fantastic and will hire her again if any new issues arise.

I originally sought help with my dog because he had fear of people and dogs and was reactive. What I have since learned after group sessions is that I am the one who needed true work learning to help him. The way that I react and respond to other dogs and people has a profound effect on my 11 year old dog. Vicki has given me practical tools and insight working with our specific situation. I am surprised that in a group situation, I have been giving so much one-on-one attention. At first my dog could not even being close proximity to other dogs or the dog fence surrounding the dog yard at the park. Now he can sit or lay calmly his dogs are within close proximity. This has provided me with much needed relief and has helped my dog not be so anxious. I continue to work on my skills and my dog has made a dramatic improvement. I plan to continue another group session round as soon as possible. This is my Jas smiling after class!
