I’ve been blessed to be a professional photographer for 19 years. My degree is in journalism with an emphasis in photography. Shooting weddings, families, seniors, portraits and more, I love it all! I’ve photographed weddings in New Zealand, Ireland, Switzerland and Mexico. I love getting to know my clients and what matters most to them. I feel like it is important to know who I am serving so that I can capture their day or portraits in the most beautiful way possible.

I was in desperate need of some professional headshots but also wanted some fun photos around my beautiful city. Kristin nailed it! For an awesome price, I have gorgeous photos that I can treasure forever and use professionally. Every time I use one I get excited! Kristin puts you very much at ease if you are at all uncomfortable or feeling awkward about posing. She’s fun and professional and really cares about her work product. Highly recommend! Kristin did an amazing job with our wedding photos! My now husband and I are super awkward when it comes to taking posed photos but she made us feel comfortable and had us laughing and genuinely smiling in our photos, which is something I was really hoping for. She dealt with all of the different personalities of our wedding party and guests so well. We sent a list of all of the moments and groupings we wanted her to capture, which was really long given the short time you have during a wedding, but she checked all of the boxes and then some. I cannot recommend Smetona Photography enough.

We were scheduled to meet at an outdoor setting but rain set in. We ended up moving the session indoors unexpectedly and it truly turned out for the best.
