Introduction
I studied photojournalism in the film days and has been a photographer for over 20 years.
As a mom of two littles, I'm loving this new adventure of navigating the hyper-speed world of children, watching them grow into people, learning how to make connections in this new community, and finding joy and humor in the absurdity of it all.
I get how hard it can be to take some time together to just have fun. This is why I aim to make my photo sessions a joyful experience that clients don't have to stress about.
In addition to having fun making photos, I also enjoy good food, baking, music/dancing, travel, and walks around the neighborhood.
I'm loving calling Oakland home with my husband and two daughters.

Rikki is AMAZING and a miracle worker!! This year Rikki took our family photos and they were PERFECT! Neither my husband or daughter like to have their picture taken and she got them both to smile authentically and have fun! When we left the photo shoot my toddler said "That was so fun, when can we do it again!?" and my husband she "she was great!" The highest marks anyone could give!! Our friends all commented on how wonderful the pictures were and it was all due to Rikki's ability to connect with us and make things fun! We can't wait to work with her again next year!

My family is so lucky to have found Rikki to take our photos! Getting two kids to look at the camera and SMILE at the same time is no small feat, but Rikki was able to produce the most beautiful pictures and capture a precious moment of time when my children are small. Rikki so generously went over the allotted time that we had scheduled, which was unexpected of course, but it truly meant so much to us that she was willing to work with us to get the shots she needed and knew we would want. She was so caring, dedicated and flexible. The whole family loves the shots; my 4-year-old looks over the prints weekly to declare which are her favorite. I am so grateful they have brought joy to us all! We will definitely be having Rikki take our photos again in the future!! Thank you, Rikki :)
