FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Job pricing is based on several factors, including transportation to the client, parking, material acquisition, vehicle maintenance, insurance, shop space overhead, and allowances for tools and necessary equipment. These are all reasonable costs for running a small business in the Bay Area. Additionally, I charge a consultation fee of $500 for providing detailed estimates on jobs that require planning and significant time spent communicating with both clients and vendors. This ensures that I can deliver accurate, well-thought-out estimates for more complex projects.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Having a discussion with customer about the scope of work by providing details and pictures in certain cases while others call for looking at the job in person then coordinating from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended trade school and have been working in the building trades for 12+ years.
