My water heater failed 1/29/25. I made a request via Thumbtack about 5:30 PM that day for a new tank. I heard back from Tankless Pro and John within half an hour, and he arrived to provide an evaluation/estimate the next morning at 9 AM. (I had also requested an estimate from a second provider). John explained the options between tank and tankless. I preferred tankless but that was problematic because of my HOA/townhome and the timeframe. I decided to go with a gas tank water heater after John provided a competitive price (for a highly rated Bradford White heater), and committed to completing the install that day. The new tank was completely installed by 6 PM that same day, 1/30. John was very reliable, professional, and delivered on everything he said. I would certainly recommend Tankless Pro and John to anyone else looking for a water heater evaluation or purchase.

John was very responsive and communicative from the start and was one of the first ones to respond to my job hot water heater inquiry. We spoke over the phone to share what's been going on at one of our rental properties. He shared what possible causes but confirmed he needed to see it in person to diagnose the issue and decide next steps. He was able to come by same-day, making the trip from Orange County to San Diego during the holiday season. Once he assessed the issue, he confirmed that the tankless water heater needed to be replaced. We weren't ready to make that kind of decision yet as this isn't something we anticipated, especially from a financial perspective. He gave us some time to decide and gave us his bottom line price to do the job and replace the unit with a brand-new, state-of-the-art Navien unit. He empathized with our situation as he didn't want our tenants to go without reliable hot water during the holidays and in the winter. Once we decided to move forward, we agreed on a date pretty soon when he can come out, and he made the time and drive again to replace and install the new unit in one day. His knowledge, level of service, work quality and value are top-tier. We are fortunate to have come across John and Tankless Pro - will definitely be using them for other related needs!
