Maria is an incredible teacher! I did not speak a word of Spanish, and after five lessons I am able to have some basic conversations in Spanish. Highly recommended.

I am an elementary level speaker, with my only experience in Spanish coming from Duolingo and music. I was looking for an instructor to aid in taking my speaking/listening skills to the next level. So far I have only had a trial class with Spain Academy but the Maria's knowledge, communication, and personality have left me with an exceptional first impression - I plan on signing up for a program with Spain Academy and I am very excited to develop my language skills even further! Highly recommend

I was initially hesitant to work with an online tutor, but I couldn’t be happier with Maria and Carmen and Straight From Spain!! We have learned so much in a short time. They have been mindful of our current skills and very motivating to improve them. Our tutoring includes private sessions, group discussion, and group grammer. We are given access to resources to help us learn more on our own. Thanks to Maria and her team!
