I study with some of the best musicians in the city and am able to translate university quality music education to all of my students. I teach any level of experience and can help you reach your goals, whether you want to fingerpick your favorite songs, write original music, or be ready to shred an amazing solo up on stage. I bring with me thousands of hours of playing and performing experience, 5 years of teaching, and the guarantee that I can save you so much time and trouble. Started taking lessons with Fletcher a few months ago and have already seen so much improvement! I’ve tried lessons in the past that were mostly just boring work with books, but Fletcher makes learning guitar fun and interesting and is always willing to teach you what you’re interested in learning. Fletcher is a fantastic guitar teacher. I am a beginner and was initially nervous about playing in front of someone, but Fletcher could not be more patient, encouraging, and non-judgmental. He helps me to embrace making mistakes and feel excited about taking on new challenges during lessons. I've improved so much because of his ability to observe, identify things to work on and give specific feedback. Also, his passion for guitar is infectious; I've never felt more motivated to learn about and practice at a new hobby :)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended the University of Texas’s Butler School of Music as a jazz major to receive a formal training in music theory, guitar performance, and improvisation.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages, skill levels, and goals. I have taught 6 year olds as well as retirees and welcome anyone with an interest in playing. It is never too early or late to start, and I really believe anyone can learn and go far beyond where they thought they could.
