We hired Steven and team to cater a cocktail event for one of our senior executives and so thrilled we did. From first conversation (and me not having a budget locked in) Steven was super helpful on creating a fabulous menu that felt definitely a level up from previous catering companies. The menu had something for everyone and presentation was top notch. Many of our guests commented on how attentive and great the entire staff was, e.g. "I had that napkin/skewer in my hand once I finished for less than a minute before someone was there to take for me", to "that's the best guava marg I've had and look at the presentation"! I had at least 4 guests ask me before the party was over to send them they're contact info. Besides great staff, delicious food and drinks/presentation, they left the kitchen and backyard bar area spotless. The executive who hosted was so thrilled to enjoy their guests without having to do a thing. You'll be so happy you hired the Segar team!!

Pricing is developed after a conversation with the customer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a formal introduction, I gather information regarding the customer's desires and expectations. This information leads to the generation of sample menus with various pricing options and further conversation until the customer is pleased with the menu layout and direction of their event concept.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began my professional career cooking at fine dining Restaurant 1789 in Washington DC, focus on private engagements for heads of state (Clintons, Joe Biden and others,) celebrity guests (Paul McCartney, Queen Noor, Shia LeBouf, Anderson Cooper and others) and executive gatherings. I owned the food truck brand Eat Wonky and helped pioneer the Food Truck Association before moving to Naples FL to start my real estate firm and launch Naples' first ever Restaurant Week. Cultivating my diverse experiences, I am now operating Segar LA.
