I am very, very satisfied with Melo Gardens! We came into the project with one idea, and ended up doing something completely different that worked with the space we had. Alex and his team were terrific! I had the world's ugliest window well outside a guest room, dead cactus, difficult to water. Solomon designed and installed a lovely cactus garden, extended my drip irrigation system to the area, redid a front bed with succulents that were lower maintenance then what I had and repotted a front door plant that was trying to die. VAST improvement. See photos of some of the work, BEFORE and AFTER. Price=reasonable. Came on date promised. Highly recommend!

We hired Melo Gardens to redo our front yard. We had hired gardeners to tear out our front lawn about 8 years ago. Over the years birds brought other flower seeds to our yard and we ended up with a large field of CA poppies surrounding our chosen plants. It was quite beautiful but over the years the weed blocking cloth they had put down deteriorated and the last years of rain brought numerous weeds. After hours and hours of weeding we gave up and called Melo Gardens. I spoke with Alex and he sent Solomon out to check everything and discuss changes we wanted to make in both the front and back yards. Ultimately, they tore out almost the whole front yard and redid the drip lines. Solomon brought 100 new plants of varying colors and types. They planted 96 of them and left me the last 4 to do whatever I wanted to in the back. It is exciting to watch as the new plants start to bloom! Everyday I walk around seeing new flowers I hadn’t seen yet and I look forward to seeing them get bigger and fill in more space! They tore out a section of lawn in the backyard and improved our drainage system. They trimmed overgrown trees and weeded areas that grew nothing but weeds. They replaced the wood on a small section of fencing we share with a neighbor (not filled by block walls). After they did all that they put in more weed blocking material that is stronger than any we’ve seen. They remulched all the gardens and put deconstructed granite and rocks where we took out part of the lawn. Now everything is manageable and easier to maintain. Plants are guaranteed for 3 months and they will come back to check on everything. The whole job took about 3 days to complete and they cleaned up after themselves. About a week after they finished work I called Solomon with a sprinkler valve problem and he came over and fixed it for me even though it had nothing to do with the work his crew did! The people that run and work for this company are professional, friendly and helpful trying to make sure the customer is happy with the end results. Both my husband and I are extremely pleased with everything they did!
