Cole was always very supportive of me and my goals. My favorite thing about working with him was getting to work on what I wanted. I could choose the songs or techniques I was interested in a Cole would work with me on those. There was still a good balance of fundamentals, but they were things Cole knew I would need as a musician. This all helped me to stay engaged as I wasn't bored to death learning something I had no interest in while still improving every week in our lessons. I have worked with Cole for many years, from 4th grade in elementary till senior year of high school. The only reason I stopped was because I started to attend music school on the east coast. None of that would have been possible without Cole and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone for guitar/music lessons.

I have been taking guitar lessons from Cole Ashmore for the past 10 years. I was a little concerned about starting to learn how to play the guitar from scratch in my early 40's, but I found out very quickly that Cole was absolutely the right person to help me on my guitar/musical journey. Cole is absolutely the best teacher anyone could hope to get for many reasons. He is patient, methodical and keeps things very simple and easy to learn. He also keeps things very light and fun, and is always open to teaching anything I have wanted to learn how to play over the last decade. Another bonus is that Cole is also excellent with his follow up after our lessons to send a quick video re-cap. This goes way above and beyond what was expected and is always a benefit to keep things fresh after our weekly lessons. I would highly recommend taking guitar lessons with Cole. Doesn't matter your age or if you are brand new like I was, an intermediate, or someone who has maybe taken some time away from the guitar and want to start up again. Cole will get you on the right path that works for you and you will be 100% happy with the results.

Absolutely love Cole my daughters would still be going if we did not have such a crazy schedule, which Cole tried to work with. My daughter's both loved learning from him. We will be joining again as soon as we can. Thank you Cole for such a rad experience.
