Simply put....AMAZING! April is our new go to event caterer, she is the best of the best. Details, exquisite food, and she is so warm and kind on top of that! All if our guests were so impressed!!

April was fantastic. She put together a delicious array of food for my 94 year old Father receiving The Quilt of Valor for his service in WW11. She was timely. She was organized. The food was great. Thanks again.

Our wedding day was perfect with the exception of the food. April, who’s real name is Carrie Caulk not only arrived late but ran out of food before all the guests were able to eat. This was a served buffet with her employees and the picture shown was what my guests received if they were able to receive any food at all. Sadly, some of my guests were so hungry that they made a food run to In & Out, others left early for the same reason. After April agreed to partial refund later that week stated that she was not going to refund what we had agreed upon. I DO NOT recommend this company nor do I recommend anything to do with Carrie Caulk. She was rude to my guests and accused them of eating to much with a served buffet. It was embarrassing and disappointing.

Good Evening, I am very sorry for the miscommunication, I was not late. Your appetizers where displayed on time and the Dinner Buffet was was served on time as well. I agreed to refund a portion of the fee just as soon as my Attorney drew up the Legal Document “Hold Harmless” and Book keeper Figured the appropriate amount to refund as you still owed my Company Money. With regards to me being rude to your guests, that is also an untruth! Your guests where extremely aggressive to my Staff and kept coming back to the Sculling Station and berating them. They where extremely distraught. The Venue owner told me that there where additional tables orders by you and we had several guests come through the line a second time prior to everyone being served. I apologized profusely to you and you Groom. And did agree to give you a refund, just as soon as my Attorney addresses the situation. I had a Wedding the following Evening at an Exquisite Venue with much Success! My apologies for the miscommunication and I will indeed refund you upon the direction of my Attorney I wish you and your Family all the best! God Bless

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Aprils on Girard is extremely sensative to their Customers Budgets, and does whatever is necessary to provide their Customers with the absolute best Menu and pricing available. no job is too small for Aprils on Girard every Customer gets OUTSTANDING Service no matter the Budget!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The very first thing that I like to ask a Customer is, "What are you comfortable spending" This way I can Craft a Customized Menu exclusively for them that meets their Menu requests & Budget.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the Restaurant Industry for over 30 Years. My Family had a chain of Restaurants in San Diego and a very well known Steak House as well for over 50 years. I began working in the restaurants at a very young age. My Training came from watching all the Chefs and Sous Chefs as well as the Butcher prepare the Sauces, Dressings and Custom cut Steaks for the Restaurant.
