FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a flat fee for a one day job. When I go to meet with a client, I take in the two factors of the dimensions of a space and also the design they have in mind. after I have a good idea of what the client needs then I can make a decision on how many days a job will take. Sometimes it’s just one day!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I can meet in person to show my portfolio or talk by phone to gather information about the project to get a rough idea on a bid. It helps to know the dimensions of the space and also a type of theme or if there is any inspirational photos that the client has in mind. Sometimes a client will have their own design already in mind or sometimes the client would like me to do the designing. Either way I’d like to have a solid design approved before moving forward to do the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Besides having a Bachelors Degree in Art, I take workshops with other professionals at least one time a year. I am a member of IDAL (International Decorative Artisans League.)
