Trena was our saving grace with the latest addition to our family. We have an older dog Lucy that we rescued a couple of years back and I was able to handle her training on my own but our puppy Maggie had me ripping my hair out. Countless articles and videos on dog training and nothing worked so I reached out to Trena for some assistance. I knew she would be a great fit for us when our dogs immediately were drawn to her (rare for our older dog Lucy ). Almost immediately Maggie began listening to Trena which was a bit frustrating for me personally lol. Just goes to show how experienced Trena is. The difference we now see In maggie is night and day. I used to dread coming home to some sort of mess because Maggie would destroy some part of our house daily . Now me and my wife feel confident with leaving our dogs home alone for long periods of time. Trena also helped Maggie with walks, I can confidently say the foundation that Trena helped us build is essential to Maggie being a well behaved dogs that we can cherish for years to come. Trena has worked magic helping me to train my now 6-month old golden doodle puppy who is overly enthusiastic and hugely energetic. She clearly loves dogs and somehow gets them to obey her! I have had 5 of the 6 training sessions I purchased from her-- at my house. I like it that she comes to my home and trains my dog for his actual living environment. Of course she is really training me more than my dog! She checks in on me between lessons and is available for advice in between training times. I have a ways to go to have a well behaved dog but I have confidence and "tools" she has given me in this puppy stage training arrangement! I boarded my puppy with her while I had to be gone for a week of travel. This was a huge plus--leaving him with someone who knew and loved him and would reinforce the behaviors I am trying to establish!

She goes above and beyond. I originally was looking for a dog walker which then turned into dog training and dog sitting. I use her for everything. She is absolutely amazing with my pup. She cleans my home while pet sitting my pup at my home and brings in my mail. I hired another dog sitter before her and I came home to a huge mess , trash over filled and dishes in the sink. It was awful. I now have a piece of mind when I’m away and know my pup is fully taken care of. I love that I found her. Definitely recommend

I would never use anyone else. I contacted many trainers in regards to puppy training. All of them said they wouldn’t start training until about 4 months old and I wanted to start now at 8 weeks. I was having the hardest time with potty training, biting, crate training and just being left alone. I was getting zero sleep. Trena came over and literally was my life saver. She completely set me and my puppy up for success. My puppy was potty trained so quickly and I’m now able to sleep through the night snd leave her alone without crying all the time. I’m now using her as my dog walker and pet sitter. My dog absolutely loves her. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to best fit my clients budget as much as I can. I do offer packages and individual pricing. However, I do also adjust to best fit my clients needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a client hires me, I make sure they feel like they are part of our family. I make sure I am always there for them, take care of their pet like they were my own, my clients can call me day or night and I am always checking in with them, to see how their pet is doing, how the training is going and how can I help in any way. I also will go to any pet supply house and pick up any food or other supplies for their pet. I want my clients to know they can count on me no matter what. My personal connections with my clients and their pet is what makes my job the best job ever!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied dogs and their behavior almost my entire life. They are fascinating creatures. I have been mentored by the most renowned trainers and have learned unique qualities along the way. Dogs are highly intelligent, more than we can imagine. Working with such amazing animals is such a dream come true!
