Phenomenal teacher. Matt is very knowledgeable musician and doesn’t waste your time. I am currently a music student at Berklee so I’d consider myself the above average player with the fair amount of knowledge I already posses. With my experience with teachers, when I come out of a lesson, I only learn a few things that I don’t think are worth the price I pay for the hour since I already know most of what they were teaching me in the lesson. With the few lessons I’ve had with Matt I have already learned a lot in terms of theory, and how to navigate the guitar in a thoughtful, efficient way. He has given me different perspectives as well. Another thing I really like is that he sends me emails with content such as videos or print outs regarding what we discussed during our lesson so I always have something new to practice I can’t recommend this guy enough and he is phenomenal at the price he charges.
