FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I utilize a print credit structure that allows you to customize how you receive your photos. Want digitals? Great! Want prints? Great! When you book your session, a print credit is included to cover the cost of getting those pictures processed and ready for print. If you have specific requests, I am fairly flexible. I can discount a few things here and there to best use your print credit--including discounted digital images. Generally speaking, my product offerings are as follows: Digital Image......................................$20 per image Wallets (8)...........................................$9 4x6.........................................................$4 5x7..........................................................$7 8x10.......................................................$12 11x14......................................................$20 16x20.....................................................$35 20x30....................................................$60 Fine Art Prints starting at $30 Canvases starting at $99 Metal Prints starting at $59 Framed starting at $79 Photo Novelties (magnets, buttons, & ornaments) starting at $5 All products will be shipped to you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get a better idea of what exactly the end use of the photo is. Are we updating a headshot for the website? Are we announcing an engagement? Are we celebrating the family getting together? To make that happen, I like to start with a consultation. I can run through the best path to get the results that my client wants and guide them through the process. I do this with my portrait clients, as well as my wedding clients. We plan for the best time to photograph at the best location for what they're looking for. Once we are at the session, I like to make things relaxed and get done what needs done. I never ask my clients to do something that I would not be comfortable doing myself. I am often looking for the best angles and that sometimes looks like me laying on the ground or even climbing through the brush. I have also been known to wade out into the water to get my shot. After the session is complete, I make an estimate of the turnaround for your online gallery and confirm any details that may need ironed out. Generally speaking, an hour session will yield 200 images that I will cull down to 40-50 best finished images. From there, you select what you like and place your product order. I'm available to refinish and adjust what needs adjusting in the post process. All physical items will be shipped to you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
