DaNece Lyman is a Registered Violin Teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. DaNece grew up as a Suzuki student in Cary, North Carolina and has been an active Suzuki teacher since 2008.
DaNece Lyman holds degrees in violin performance from the University of Redlands (Artist Diploma), Boise State University (M.M.), and Brigham Young University (B.M.). Her private teachers include Sam Fischer, Craig Purdy, and Monte Belknap. DaNece has performed with the Boise Philharmonic, Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, Redlands Symphony Orchestra, Ballet West Orchestra, and Orchestra at Temple Square. Her performing has taken her to Italy, Slovenia, and Spain where she played with the International Music Festival of the Adriatic, and as concertmaster with the Inland Master Chorale and Orchestra.
DaNece maintains a private studio in Fontana, California, and teaches for both the Community School of Music and Arts in Redlands and Claremont Community School of Music. She has also enjoyed coaching young chamber music groups as a faculty member with the North Carolina Chamber Music Institute. DaNece is passionate about the Suzuki philosophy of continual learning with a deep appreciation for the mentorship of her past teacher trainers—Edward Kreitman, Sherry Cadow, and Esther Fellows.
