My focus as an artist is always making sure you are comfortable, because that brings out the most genuine you and the best you! I’ve been doing wedding photography for the past 2 years but I’ve been a photographer for as long as I can remember; I fell in love with photography because I love being able to capture a moment and tell a story, whether it’s in the big finale of a concert, a couple laughing at an inside joke, or a quiet moment of reflection and love between a mother and child. Even though it’s only a fraction second, those shots can hold onto a moments and preserve it forever.

Naiya is an exceptionally gifted photographer. I reached out her fairly last minute with a request for a photo shoot to surprise my wife after we had been apart for many months, and Naiya was happy to accommodate. She was very responsive to all communications. The day of the shoot was not especially nice weather-wise, yet Naiya was still able to work her magic and capture some beautiful shots. I had a positive experience with Naiya. Unfortunately we didn’t officially get the chance to work together because of an unforeseen event that came up. However, despite this she recommended a replacement photographer to me, and that helped. Still I hope to get the chance to work with Naiya on another project in the near future.

Naiya was so sweet, patient and kind. I studied Photography at USC for two years and have been working in the industry since.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started drawing and painting since I was young and when I was in middle school I started taking pictures for my schools yearbook and loved it, ever since I’ve been obsessed!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Go with someone who makes you comfortable and who can mesh with you artistically.
