Introduction
I am an online piano instructor, teaching private lessons to all ages. I began teaching in music and educational schools in 1976. Since 1996, I have been teaching in my own private studios. For the last 11 years, I have taught in my private studio for the Encinitas, San Diego as well as Murrieta, Temecula, Wildomar, Elsinore. I also began teaching online lessons about 8 years ago.
I studied performance under the concert pianist and teacher, Margaret De'ak, along with theory and composition from Stephen De'ak, Professor of Music at Peabody Conservatory, Curtis Institute of Music, and USC. I continue to attend multiple teaching seminars, master classes, and conferences through many different associations.
My current affiliations are:

I have loved working with Elizabeth for years now. She makes the lessons fun and engaging when she asks about your day, or your week. Having a conversation during the lesson really makes it more enjoyable. She doesn’t separate herself from her students the way some other piano teachers would. Elizabeth wants to get to know the student personally, creating a bond and a sense of trust.

The online lessons have been great while having to do distancing. My son is continually learning in the digital setting with Elizabeth.

Thank you so much for the positive feedback! I have actually loved the digital setting too! I am finding it has a lot to offer and I have enjoyed getting to know and work with your son! I have found that most of my students have excelled just as quickly in the digital setting as in-person and all in the comfort of their own home!

We don’t prefer online . We know it’s what needs to be right now but we definitely feel like in person is a 5 out of 5!!!! Elizabeth is a wonderful piano teacher , online just isn’t as personal!
