He appears to be a nice young man. His work quality was acceptable. Unfortunately he damaged the item he was assembling (2 cracks and a gouge in the wood). Fortunately it was cosmetic and did not hurt the structure of the item. The sad thing is he chose to hide the damage and cover it with tape. I discovered it after he left. He should have told/shown me. Maybe he was afraid I would get mad, Maybe he was afraid I would not want to pay him. Maybe??? What I would have done was ask for a small discount to cover the damage, paid him and then probably wrote a glowing review for his honesty. The fact is he caused the damage, he should have been honest about it and then deal with the consequences from it. Now he has to deal with this review. I could be much harsher in the review because this is an integrity issue. But, I'll leave it at this. Hopefully he will learn to handle situations like this differently in the future. I am not saying that you should not hire him. You decide. I have more projects. One I even spoke to him about before he left. Unfortunately based on what happened to me, I'll be choosing a different person next time.

I had him work on my dog grooming trailer. I liked how responsive and how professional he seemed. When the time came he seemed to be a great fit. I like the way my floors came out. He had to take everything out and instead of leaving my expensive equipment under the protected railing he left it out and the rain ruined my $500 dryer and my headphones. I let it go and let him keep working. When he left I had to call him back to let him know there was paint where it shouldn’t be and the drawers weren’t put in right. Also he left some things that needed to be screwed in etc outside. He came back and said he fixed it. I contacted him to let him know things weren’t fixed. And about my dryer. That was over a month ago and now I’m back to square one having to pay someone else to fix my drawers because now I’m completely missing one. Very disappointed in professional workmanship, accountability, & service.
