Tal is an amazing roof professional. I signed a contract with him on Sep 13, put my deposit $1000 into his account by Zelle on Sep 14, he got my roof permit from Fremont city on behalf of me on Sep 16 and he scheduled to start my project on Sep 23, next Monday. I had two reasons to replace my existing roof at the beginning: 1st, my home insurance requested me to replace my roof otherwise it would not renew my policy. 2nd, I would install a solar panel on my roof after the roof would be installed. However, today I got a home insurance from another vendor, so the 1st reason disappeared. Also my solar vendor agent had not got confirmation from the headquarter if my new roof could be ready for the solar panel, so I had to hold my roof installation. I did not know how to update Tal about my changes. Per my experience, Tal would not be happy for me to hold my project. However, I was totally wrong. After Tal knew my changes, he tried his best to help me. He stood in my shoes at that moment and promised to return the roof permit for me and would refund my deposit, $1,000. I was shocked because he had paid $337 for my roof permit. However, he did not charge my any penny and refunded my deposit immediately within 10 minutes. I was so moved by his professionalism. I could not image there is such kind roof vendors in the world. So my heart was totally touched by his caring about me. From that on I know his 1st priority is to help his customers other than to make money. Of course every one needs to make money to support my life. However, he puts his clients' interest before making money for himself. He combines taking his clients and making money together. Therefore, Tal is a trusty roof vendor and we can trust him any time. Therefore I recommend him to all my friends and will hire him to work on my roof any time necessary. I will go back to you when my solar vendor confirms our proposal.Tal, you belong to the best people group in the world and you deserve the best in the world.

I searched for and selected a few candidate roofers to replace the wood shake roof on my 2-story housewith shingles. I felt very comfortable at the first meeting with Tal, the owner of Tal Family Builders. He was professional and well prepared. He patiently explained the whole process, materials and key items to watch out for as well as answering all the questions I listed in advance. His pricing was competitive. He kept me updated all the time and promptly addressed my questions professionally. I was impressed with the quality and efficiency of their team. The project was completed in a week!I appreciated Tals sincerity. After the old wood shakes were removed, it was clear that much less new OSD plywood would be needed. He was quick to provide a contract change order with a sizable reduction from the original contract. I strongly recommend Tal Family Builders for any roofing work.

We had the pleasure working with Tal Family Builders in the week of September 16, 2024 and his team gave us a brand new roof of over 4000 sq ft in 4 days. The house was built in 1976 and the old roof was the original one. There was no plywood and the tiles were heavy. The team had to walk on old roof framing. The workers were very professional and always arrived on time each day. There was one day that they worked 10 hours straight under hot sun. We couldn't be happier with our new roof and feel very safe to live there for another 50 years.I did get several quotes before choosing Tal's team. Tal was prompt in responding to my inquiry and even made a second trip to show me different shingles. He was on site every day and the project was completed within the timeframe on contract. I would highly recommend Tal Family Builders for your home project as he is a man of his word, knows what he's doing and would treat you as his family and friends.
