My son (who has had lessons with another coach for 3.5 years) started a lesson with Coach John last week, and immediately liked his coaching. John clearly explained the details of modern tennis trends to generate a topspin and corrected my son's forms. On the second lesson, I already saw improvements both with forehand and backhand strokes. John also gave my son homework to improve tennis outside the court. I think his coaching is fundamentally very strong and also he knows how to teach. Thank you Coach John.

I do wish I get the right coach at one time, unfortunately he is not a right coach for us. This is my truly personal experience. My daughter only took three sessions, unfortunately three sessions had different troubles.
First, he was not a person to contact with easily. In the first class, he was late the class for 30 mins, and we didn’t get any notice before the class. I got his call after the class should started. In the third class, he didn’t even show up. Well, he gave the proof of he did text me before the third class. But I gave him proof too, I did not get any message from him. Meanwhile, in fact, he can contact me through Thumbtack App or even calling me directly. Unfortunately, in our third class, waiting for 15 mins, no coach showing up, it is ME to call him to confirm the class.
Second, he is not a honest person on tuition. I contacted him on Thumbtack, in the beginning, he said $95/each session. However, when we finished the first trial, he turned his mind to charge me $100. And the reason is $95+$5 for tax. Hmmm… this is my first time hearing about it. Anyway, when I mentioned we had the conversation about tuition, he finally charged $95 finally. HOWEVER, he is still charged me $100 when I called to terminate our tennislessons. Even though I mentioned the tuition issue to him before, he didn’t keep our agreement.
Last but not least, be aware that he doesn’t reserve the tennis court for his student. He coaches in the Rosita Park, the limited tennis courts are so popular… Without a reserved tennis court, in the long run, it is easy to encounter a situation where there is no tennis court to play.
