I reached out for some contracting work. The owner was prompt to respond on a weekend night and even gave me a phone call to discuss my project some more. He explained that while he could do the work, the work is usually done by the utilities company and requires city approval. He even offered to look at some drawings for me. I appreciated his honesty and willingness to help out even though he didn’t get new business.
