Jake, owner of Bowzer Broz Painting, exceeded our expectations on the kitchen cabinet project. He removed the cabinets, sanded, primed, and spray painted on two coats of cabinet paint. He installed new door pulls, new hinges and re-hung the cabinets expertly. Our kitchen is transformed. Jake recently moved here from back east and has 12 solid years of professional painting experience. He was prompt (project took a few days), communicated well and even repaired the damage from prior painters. We highly recommend him for interior (and exterior) painting.

Jake was very acommodating to my schedule and the other work being done on my house. When the time came for painting, he was there right away and worked every day until the whole project was finished. He was immediately responsive to my texts and calls and made the whole process as easy as it could have been. The final result is great, including in areas where he had to do a great deal of prep work on window frames and dated stucco. Highly recommended.

Just wow! I bought my house almost 12 years ago and the flippers (as usual) cut some corners. I have since replaced the ugly linoleum floors and made some other improvements, but I couldn’t stand the mismatched cabinets from day one. They were new, but due to the cherry color they looked very dated and along with the other questionable design choices made when flipping the house, my kitchen was an eyesore in my semi-open floor plan. I had been putting off painting my cabinets because it’s so time consuming and I finally had an honest conversation with myself: I was never going to paint the cabinets on my own. I found Bowzer Broz Painting (among other painters) and Jake was the first painter to respond. What I really liked about our first interaction was that he said he could come by and check out the cabinets in person or I could send photos if that made me feel more comfortable. As a single woman, that made me feel a lot better. The other companies I spoke with didn’t even offer that option right up front and one even started asking for all my personal info before they even offered to come by. Very sus. Jake was super respectful, polite, responsive and professional. He said it would take about a week (which it did) and was very thorough in explaining his process even before I agreed to hire him. That was very reassuring to me especially because I had a nightmare experience with previous painters a few years back. He was very understanding and sympathetic about my previous painting experience. His pricing was reasonable and honestly I’ve been kicking myself for not painting my cabinets sooner because WOW!!! What a transformation! Sometimes I just stand and stare at my kitchen because it finally looks like it was meant to look. 🥹 Everything matches now and it finally makes sense instead of being a bunch of disjointed design choices. My whole kitchen, including painting the cabinets, walls/ceiling and door ran about $2400 which feels like a steal considering how much joy my “new” kitchen has brought me. Jake was very clean — he even swept my floor and took his time to be neat and thorough on painting and cleanup. He treated my house as if it were his own. Jake will be my painter FOR LIFE! Cherry cabinets and “bandaid” colored walls are before photos. Classic white cabinets and charcoal grey walls with blue door are the after photos.

Jake just painted a Master Bedroom for me, and I must say it literally was painted perfectly! I found him on the Thumbtack app. He was the first one to respond, stayed in communication throughout scheduling. Came to the property to look at what needed to be done, and gave the quote shortly after. He was on time every day, again in great communication. He is truly a Top Notch Proper Painter!
