FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a number of full-day and half-day wedding packages, as well as numerous options for engagement photography and portraiture. All of our packages can be customized to suit your specific needs. We’d love to provide a consultation and put together a custom proposal for you!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients before we set out on our journey together. From my perspective, the more I understand a potential client's needs and wants, their vision — their story — the better I am able to capture images and footage that are truly authentic, reflective and meaningful. When choosing a photographer or videographer, it’s important to make sure they are a good fit for you and your family — not only in terms of their photographic and/or videographic style and the quality of their portfolio, but also their personality and work ethic. Some personalities simply don't mesh, and the last thing you want is to spend hours (or days) feeling awkward and constrained because your photographer is unaccommodating, rigid, impersonable, etc. That’s why I prefer to meet potential clients first — or at least have a good video or phone chat — before booking. This initial conversation helps us get to know one another. More importantly, it helps you to determine whether we’ll make the perfect creative team for your project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training began in the United States Navy. While serving in a combat camera unit, I learned the fundamentals of photography, videography, photojournalism and digital design. I am Adobe Certified in Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as a member of Professional Photographers of America.
