- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Here's how we work with new clients: Step 1: Consultation Share your project scope, vision, goals, and target budget with us. We provide a price estimate based on our Standardized Pricing and a timeline outlining key milestones, deliverables, and payment phases. If you decide to proceed, we’ll send a detailed agreement covering the scope, deliverables, payment terms, and phases. Once the agreement is signed, your project begins, and a dedicated Project Team Leader will be assigned as your main point of contact. Step 2: Project Kickoff The process starts with understanding the land or space for development. Depending on the project, we schedule a site visit or initial measurements. Specialists like Surveyors or Geotechnical Engineers may also begin their work based on project requirements. Step 3: Design Development With a clear understanding of the site, our 2D CAD drafters and 3D Visual Artists create an initial design iteration. This design is shared in both formats for your review, providing a detailed perspective of the proposed space. A Design Review Meeting is typically scheduled with your Project Team Leader to refine the structure’s details. Step 4: Mid-Design Refinement For complex projects, the design undergoes several iterations and additional review meetings until the Basic Structure (walls, windows, doors, and roof layout) is finalized. Step 5: Design Finalization After finalizing the Basic Structure, some projects may include detailed interior and exterior design elements, such as material selection, appliances, and furnishings. For permitted projects, additional specialists prepare Construction Documents, the detailed plans contractors use for construction. These documents must be approved by municipalities before building begins. Step 6: Permit Submission Once Construction Documents are complete, they are submitted to municipalities for safety and code compliance review. Our team manages this process end-to-end. (Note: Permits are issued by municipalities, and we cannot guarantee approval.) Step 7: Ready to Build With permits issued, our process concludes, and the contractor can begin construction.
