- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly is $125 - $150 an hour for new clients. I provide a discount for regular/repeat clients. For some repeat clients I will take material cost upfront then allow them to make monthly payments on my labor.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to speak on the phone once email contact has been made, then set up an initial meeting. I prefer in person meetings. I do site visits, customers are welcome to visit me at my shop by appointment ( this is shop policy). Once we have decided on details and cost of project. I provide an estimate of cost, time line for construction and installation. I do installation for some jobs, for others I recommend having it installed by someone else ie: custom doors. It's usually less expensive to hire someone else to install a door, fence, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am from France. It was there I apprenticed for 6 years. I started working in Bay Area 20 years ago. Prior to my move to US I worked in France and Montreal.
