FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a one-time free consultation service. Within the consultation stage, the free section will allow the customer to ask designer-related questions such as the essence of the project, the scope of the project, the price, the process, the duration of the project, etc. QUH Studio charges fees per project and the fees will be charged by the scope, size of the project, and complexity of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will start with one-time consultation, the program phase of the design, in which we will gather detail-oriented information from the client through a Zoom meeting. We look at each project as a unique entity, starting from the initial phase of the design, we listen carefully to each of our clients and ask many questions to learn their desired style, exclusive need, and requirements. From the initial step of the programming phase, where we will define a concept, craft a mood board, and initial space planning, we then process our design to the schematic phase, where we will have conceptual sketches, FF& E selections, from here we will continue the next phase with design development, this is the phase we start to refine the concept and FF& E selection based on the feedback from our clients, followed showcasing our professional architecture drawings to present our complete design ideas. Interview client to determine needs and goals. Evaluate existing job site or review drawings for new construction. Measure job site to obtain necessary dimensions. Create scaled design and construction plans to meet the client's program requirements. Select finishes, furniture, furnishings, and accessories. Prepare other drawings such as lighting plans. Prepare presentation boards. Procure furniture and furnishings by submitting purchase orders to suppliers. Make periodic visits to the job site to ensure the work is being done in accordance with contract documents and specifications. Assist client with final walk-through punch list.
