Introduction
Hello, my name is Jacob Thornburg, and I am the founder of Jake's Piano and Expert Moving Services LLC. I have six years of piano and expert moving experience and am happy to service your needs. My team members have specialized training in moving the most difficult of items, but we can provide almost any types of moving services. Whether you are just moving one item, or an entire house, we have the right team and access to the right equipment to service your needs. PIANOS, POOL TABLES, AND TREADMILLS: With over six years of experience, we use tools that are standard to the field, and have also built our own tools to get the job done right. I even have a design patent pending for one of the safety moving tools that we use to prevent damage, accidents, and injuries during the course of our piano and treadmill moves.

I’m so upset that I hired these guys. Extremely last minute my move date changed and I was thrilled I saw these guys with excellent reviews so I said absolutely I’ll hire them. They packed a 26ft truck absolutely horrible! Had them hired for 4 hours but left 45 mins early! $95 per hour and left early from the job. They rushed to pack this huge truck to not have to continue the job. I ended wasting more money because I needed to rent a uhaul!! I’m so mad and recommending people do not waste your time. They showed no care or concern for my stuff. I’m so particular of all my belongings had things over 10 years with no damage and I unload the truck to see damages from broken wood to holes/scratches in furniture. Also when I unpacked the truck, I found huge gaps where more items could have fit bit of course they rushed to get the job done! They were told to fit more items but said they couldn’t. Upon opening the back of the truck, they were so smart not to properly secure my daughters bed frame and it came crashing down broke immediately upon impact on the ground. A safe was packed on top of my brand new washer which has a glass lid! A glass hookah was squished on top of heavy bed frames! The list goes on and on. But don’t worry, they did get their little video of them packing up the truck for the internet. I won’t forget that part. It was definitely important to get a video of them doing work just not properly like other companies would have. Bottom line is DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME hiring Two Men Labor. Yes they had great reviews before but I’m telling you do not let these guys ruin your furniture. They don’t care about your stuff you worked hard for just as long as they get their money as go cause once your packed your not seeing them again. But I hope my review helps another mover. If I can give you Two Men Labor 0 stars I would! You guys literally ruined so many pieces of my families furniture. I hope you don’t continue this trend!!

Details: 6-10 items • Sofa • Bed frame • Mattress • Boxes • Other furniture items • Within the same building • No change in floors to load items • No change in floors to unload items

Hi Yunita, thank you for reaching out about your experience. I am the owner of the business and was one of the movers on your move. I have four years of experience loading trucks, and as is seen from our other reviews, we don’t get many reviews about damages. So that other customers do have the full story, I have to tell them about why the damages occurred. When customers takes our advice to properly prepare for their move; we do a great job. With your move, you were not prepared. With your move, you reached out to hire us a day before your move. I recommended to your husband that you rent furniture pads from Penske (the company you were renting your truck from,) and you did not. We showed up to a job where boxes were not taped properly, several small items were not in boxes, including fragile items, and there were zero moving blankets provided for loading the truck. Moving blankets are key to preventing damages, especially scratches, due to items shifting while on the road. When we are doing a local move, we are able to provide our own moving blankets. If we are loading, but not unloading a truck for you, we require that you rent blankets before hand from the trucking company, as we need to keep our blankets for future jobs. I explained this to your husband the day that we were hired, and was confused as to why you still did not have moving blankets on the day of the move. We loaded items into your truck from the house, and from a POD. You had originally tried to load the POD yourselves, but were unable to fit your other belongings. When we unloaded the POD into the truck, we found that the POD was unstable and had not been loaded properly. The furniture items in the POD had also not been wrapped or covered in furniture blankets. At our own risk, we unloaded the POD, and did our best to prevent items from crashing or creating further damages. I love this job, I love my team, and I love my customers. I wish we had had more time to help you properly prepare for your move, that the smaller items would have been packed in boxes properly, and that we had been provided the furniture pads we needed to load the truck. For every move, we make suggestions to the customer in order to provide the best moving experience possible. In your case, you and your husband opted out of those recommendations. We took our time to carefully remove the items that were unstable in the POD, and took particular care of items that were not packed properly in boxes. With loading a truck, we have to stack items, and not having furniture pads really didn’t leave us with very many good options. Other than the furniture pads, there are several other places where the customer ignored our suggestions, and unfortunately this lead to damage. If you are looking for a mover, please don’t hesitate to call. I’ve been doing this for four years, and am great at packing trucks. I can provide a fair quote, and can help you feel safe through the whole moving process.
