FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Tree work: When I give a price for a tree I factor in that I literally have my life on a limb, and that I have the training and proper equipment to make sure the job is done safely. Between my crew and I, we have a combined experience of over 15 years trimming, rigging, and roping trees to the ground. Every tree is different but every tree requires an expert to safely remove or trim it. We are experts, we rig and rope every dangerous limb safely to the ground and we are hyper aware of our surroundings as we can get trees out of anything, power lines, over houses, over gardens, etc. We have a a zero damage policy and we've never had a claim. All that to say you are paying for the best.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with a new client I highly encourage them to talk to my references so they can have a peace of mind before I start. I go over the contract so things are completely understood before beginning the project and projected finish date. I like my customers to feel comfortable and like they are family. I work really hard for my reputation and ensuring my clients that I will beautify their tree with my art as an arborist is my ultimate goal. Once I complete the job the quality speaks for its self.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The International Society of Arboriculture is the highest standard of tree care recognized worldwide and is a required certification by most cities in the US to perform tree work . My ISA tree climber specialist credential means that I have been tried and tested by tree climbers from the ISA. My knots, climbing knowledge, and safety practices have passed the bar set high from the international community of ISA tree climber specialists. My ISA certified arborist credential means that I have been tested on the science and physics involved in tree work. Tree work involves much more than being able to climb and to operate a chainsaw. The knowledge of tree biology helps with proper diagnoses and the laws of physics at play on rigging ropes, gear, limbs, angles, friction, and kilonewtons are all at work so it’s vital for everyone’s safety and the Tree’s safety that an ISA certified arborist is caring for your trees. I also have a teaching degree so I know how to work with all types of customers and I'm excellent at management. During college I worked with a general contractor who taught me work ethic. Then I worked and trained with a talented arborist that worked storm damage across the US. I learned fail proof techniques to remove any size tree that keep life and property safe and the proper way to trim a tree to keep it healthy.
