- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At D&J's flooring and construction we are fair and reasonable. There will be no hidden fee's at the end of job. We want our customers to be comfortable through the process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer calls me, if I can't do a bid over the phone, then I will go out to the location where the work is needed. I will see what they have going on, what materials are needed and give my thoughts on how long I believe it will take me to complete the job with a dollar amount figure on the table and if there is an agreement on the price then we will schedule a time to start. Sometimes it is immediately and there are other times when a week or two is needed to get everything in order. There are at times unforeseen issues, or unexpected circumstances that do arise after the job has started, but I will never assume it is okay to continue and just charge more in the end. I will always stop and make the call to the owner to get any changes approved before hand or void the agreement.

I have years of experience in the construction/remodeling field.
