Welcome to Alicia’s Pet and Home Care! I’m Alicia, founder and passionate animal advocate. My journey began when my beloved English Lab, Otis, suffered a traumatic experience at a kennel. Despite thorough research, Otis returned depressed, injured, and frightened. This heartbreaking incident sparked my mission to provide exceptional care, ensuring your pets’ safety and happiness. As a former registered nurse (RN), I’ve transitioned to full-time pet care, supported by two trusted independent contractors. Our services encompass daily care, walks, and specialized palliative care. This compassionate support helps you and your pets navigate the end-of-life journey, providing love, medication, and companionship. You can trust us to care for your furry family members, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I recognized a growing need for home pet care services, particularly for individuals hospitalized and unable to care for their pets. I established a partnership with the social workers at Banner Boswell, who would reach out to me for assistance. When possible, I would visit patients in the hospital to obtain necessary information, collect keys, and gather details about their pets’ care. I would then provide temporary care for their pets until family members could assume responsibility or the patient was discharged.

We cannot recommend Alicia enough. Her service is impeccable, great attention to detail and she took care of our pets as if they were her own. Alicis went above and beyond of what we could've asked for and it will be comforting to know that we have a great person to take care of our fur babies for next time we are out of town.

Alicia has watched my 3 fur babies (medium to large size dogs for almost a decade now. She went out of her way to get my two fearful rescues to trust her and would not give up until they felt comfortable around her. She sure has the dog whisperer trait. She has watched them since when I am away and I can completely trust that my babies are well taken care of. She sends me messages and pictures every day. I can also be certain that she will get them the necessary medical attention and loving care should they get sick while I'm gone which is a big part of choosing a pet sitter for me, especially now that they are of advanced age. She is like a second mom to them and they love her like one. I love Alicia and her professional staff and am beyond lucky to have found her 10 yrs ago.

Alicia is a wonderful pet sitter. I have four large dogs that can be a lot. I trust her in my home and with my pets. She takes wonderful care of them. She has the experience and the knowledge if something should go wrong to handle it. She’s responsive, communicative, trustworthy, and my pets love her. I love her website. I love the fact that I get pictures of when she’s here and the updates via email. She gives me peace of mind when I can’t be home with my pups and that means everything to me. I recommend her to family and friends.

From the minute she meets you (and your pets), there is a family-like connection, and you know you can entrust them to her care without worry. Our cats are older and with health issues, and Alicia's background as a nurse provides extra reassurance; and her dedication extends there, too, with regular check-ins just to ask how they are doing.
