Thank you for the opportunity to eliminate odors at your new Paradise Valley home, Liz. We completely removed the odors, on schedule, in the price range in our estimate ($.45-.65/sf). I’m not sure who does what we do for $.35. We certainly never have, ever, so that price you recalled isn’t from my estimate. Here is the original Deposit Invoice/estimate, copied and pasted: Deposit $100 deposit will be credited to treatment price when we treat the pet odors. Overall price will be $.45-.65/sf, for 1554 square feet. Garage is not included but can be added. Garages are typically 400 sf. For most effective odor removal, do all demo prior to our arrival, including tack strips for carpeting and any sheetrock that shows yellow staining. It is our understanding the baseboards will be removed as well. Use a vacuum with the crevice nozzle to get into the corners once carpet is removed. Vacuum all floor surfaces to remove dried urine and dander, dust, etc. Do not use water to clean as this may spread the urine. Treatment to occur the evening of April 9th and finished mid-day April 10th. If we can get in earlier please let me know. Power to the HVAC system must be on for us to treat the ductwork as effectively as possible. Thank you! Upon arrival, the demo crew was still working in the home, departed to purchase baseboard, without the expectation that they were to clean the demolition debris from the work site, even though it is clearly stated as seen above. I had to clean the work site prior to treatment since it still contained urine and urine-soaked materials. I did verify by phone call after being granted access that this would be the full price. Final payment is always expected at time of service. You asked for a timeline to make payments, which was accommodated without extra financing charges simply as a kindness. The invoice was sent April 10th, after work was completed, and viewed on April 10th and 8 additional dates. The first payment was made April 23rd, almost two weeks after completion of the work. The request to not pay the remainder of the invoice was made by phone call; the offer was declined. It was stated the remainder would be paid June 3rd. The remainder was eventually paid on June 11th, two months after the work was completed. I left behind an entire gallon of awesome non-toxic spray to use after demolition was completed as a gift. I'm surprised this is a sore point; we have access to different products than consumers can purchase, and this is wonderful, non-toxic, odor-removal spray, given as our gift to you. We were able to get the job scheduled as soon as possible after you took possession of the property, prior to my out-of-state disinfection service, so it would be ready for paint and flooring on Friday. The work was completed on time, as scheduled, for the agreed upon price, going above and beyond by helping remove contaminated debris, leaving behind incredible odor spray, and identifying for you and your crew leaking plumbing so they were able to cap off leaks instead of them continuing to leak, causing further damage. Thank you for your gratitude, expressed several times by phone, email, and text, that the odors were completely gone.
