FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Odor removal is typically $1.15/square foot. In the past we have offered discounts when booked six or more weeks out with a non-refundable deposit. This is a great way for us to be involved with your remodel right from the beginning, providing expert advice for your project. High-volume clients receive an automatic 15% discount after we have treated 10,000 square feet for them each quarter. This is an awesome way for realtors to provide awesome service to their clients AND keep their commissions high. Pro tip: clean up all debris before we treat the property for quickest results. Use the crevice tool to vacuum out where the wall meets the slab to get rid of dander, hair, and dust which are odor magnets.

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background in construction, owning a non-profit company that teaches leadership skills to students and brings families together while working on building a simple home for someone without a safe place to live. I bought a Scottsdale house that had pet issues to renovate. I did all the conventional steps to get rid of the odors (cut out sheet rock, enzyme treatments, seal the floor, etc.) and had some success, but it was never perfect. Because the slab never gave up those odors, I used a full-floor rubber membrane before putting down a locking laminate floor to help seal in the rest of the odors. A decade later I saw how well professional odor removal works, so I brought a national business to my area. Master Germ and Odor Removal is the result of that education and learning about different chemical sets and how to treat odors permanently with an entirely non-toxic chemical set. Master Germ and Odor Removal would have saved me 10 hours of sheetrock work, about a week of treating the slab and then retreating it, the expense of the materials used to cover up the odors, etc. Instead of adding a week to my timeline, I would have only needed to add until lunchtime the next day. I wish I would have known about Master Germ and Odor Removal long ago!
