Hey there, I'm Ashley! I spent hours as a little girl watching 'Say Yes To The Dress' and doodling wedding dress designs in notebooks. When I got the opportunity to jump into the wedding industry in 2013, I knew I had found my passion. Photography had always been a hobby of mine as a teenager and as my experience in the wedding industry grew it became a seamless transition into picking up my camera. Now, with over a decade of experience in weddings and working exclusively as the lead wedding photographer for the last five years,
there's nothing I'm not ready for on your special day.
After launching my business in Southern Arizona, I am delighted to officially expand to offer wedding photography coverage in San Diego and surrounding areas!

Working with Shine Photography was both an exciting and positive experience from the beginning. Ashley made sure that she could capture the moments that we were looking for. We had so much fun and she made both of us super comfortable. We were all being our fun normal selves the whole entire shoot! She even gave me some wardrobe advice to make my pictures even better. The greatest part is when she sat down with me virtually to select our photos! She was patient and we looked amazing. She captured shots that looked like we were something out of a beautiful dream!! She has a great eye. We are now just waiting on our photos and we KNOW we will love what we see because the previews were on point! We are booking her for our next just for fun photo shoot and any other event in between. My experience with Ashley was great, I was a little nervous to book a photographer on a app I had never used. As most know wedding photographers are extremely expensive, Ashley gave me an affordable quote and drove down from Arizona to San Diego day of, she was punctual and a sweet personality. As if she had been a friend for years she helped calm my nerves and reassured me as I was running around getting ready she gave easy directions and poses. A week after the wedding she sent us a sneak peek and was easy to work with when i asked for small changes. All in all It was a great experience and I am very excited to see the fished photos in a few weeks. I highly recommend this photographer.

I have taken many college courses in editing, lighting, and camera function over the years to provide my clients with the most up to date resources and style.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
fourteenth years ago I started taking pictures with my dad for fun, a lot has changed since then but I still love taking photos !
What types of customers have you worked with?
I serve families, couples, new born, wedding, engagement, business, head shots, and more! I am currently specialized in Mirco Weddings and Elopements.
