- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We usually give a flat rate quote. This ensures that the customer is not paying for extra hours. Usually our flat rate quote is calculated by the information the customer gives us. We base our quotes off of how long we think it may take us. As well as mileage and effort for heavy things and staircases.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First thing we need to know is where you’re located and where you’re moving to. Then we ask what it is you’re moving. Are there any stairs or long walks? Any heavy items like pianos, pool, tables, safes, and/or appliances?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree from the university of New Mexico where I also started at middle linebacker. I’ve been in the moving business for close to 5 years now and I have seen it all. We know how to play Tetris with the best of them. We use straps and tie downs when necessary but most of the time it’s not even necessary because we pack it right and we pack it tight.
