- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get preliminary pricing established quickly, it's important that the project fits into the customer's budget first and foremost. If the project requires, I will travel to the location for an in person consultation. Once the details are sorted, I will draw up a contract for the project and take a down payment for the materials.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father raised me doing woodwork. Since I could walk I've been out on jobsites absorbing the facets of construction. Perhaps the most valuable thing my dad has imparted on me is that attitude is everything! With some good music and a great attitude a jobsite can be a source of fun and comraderie.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Details up front can greatly streamline the initial process, if you can provide example photos of your project inspiration as well as a few rough measurements, I can immediately begin the estimation process which will get you on the calendar faster!
