Introduction

My name is Justin and I run Eagle River Electronics in Eagle River, Alaska. I have worked on electronics both professionally and personally for about 20 years and I have extensive experience and knowledge of nearly all consumer devices. I opened Eagle River Electronics in 2020 during the pandemic, with the goal of providing great service while repairing instead of replacing, whenever possible. I always go above and beyond to ensure my clients are happy with their results. Verified A+, Dell, and HP, though I'm happy to work on any devices. We are open weekdays 10am until 4pm or later. Evenings and weekends by appointment. There's no charge for bringing your devices in, or we're happy to offer house calls: Eagle River/Chugiak area $25. Anchorage, Palmer, or Wasilla $50. Justin did an excellent job replacing the hard drive on my computer and running diagnostics for an issue I had on another one. I couldn't believe how quick the turnaround was and how informed I was kept throughout the process. Plus there was a cute doggo to greet us at the door!

I technically have not received services yet, however the shop dog, Chonk, alone deserves 5 stars (all customers are encouraged to dip into the dog treat jar). Justin can handle everything from your laptop to tablet, gaming systemseven setting up your new Tesla. $60 per hour for labor, with and if you want him to come to youbecause setting up a router is akin to nails on a chalkboardhe will charge a $25 flat fee in addition. The one on one attention is worth that and a cup of coffee. He told me a story about a hoarding mouse inside of a computer tower. Needless to say, he is adept at solving all problems! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My regular rate is $60/hour while working on your device. I have flat fees for some common and standard jobs, and can usually provide a good estimate before starting work. House call fees are to cover my drive costs and time, as I have to shut down my business location to travel to you.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am happy to offer a free consolation for unknown issues, and most problems are fixed within a day or two given parts available, if needed. If parts need to be shipped, expect about a week of lead time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years experience working with computers and other devices, and the latest 10 doing so professionally in various capacities. I am A+, HP, and Dell certified.
