Kristy was our photographer for our October 2015 wedding (& engagement photos) and we could not be happier with her work and professionalism. From our initial sit down meeting, to our beautiful garden engagement shoot that put us at ease and then capturing the essence of our wedding day to a tee - working with Kristy was a pleasure. She was receptive and accommodating to all of our wishes, captured all our must haves and added so much value to our wedding day pictures with her vision and perfectionism. We have so many beautiful quality photos from our wedding and it seems as if every moment was captured in time just as it was. Our photos are priceless. Kristy was the perfect photographer for our wedding! Everybody felt at ease in front of the camera because of her fun, laid back personality. My guests had a great time getting to know her! This was my first time using Thumbtack and working with Arts Ink Photography. Kristy Belcourt was extremely professional and seemed approachable from the moment she responded to my inquiry on Thumbtack. She communicated very well throughout the entire process and remained patient regarding each of the details I was hoping to capture during the surprise proposal. Furthermore, Kristy maintained great communication throughout the days leading up to the proposal - and even after the photos were taken and payment was processed. The photos were wonderful and we absolutely love them! We can't thank Kristy and Arts Ink Photography enough! We'll certainly keep her in mind once we plan the wedding. Thank you!

Bachelor in Arts with a Concentration in Photography & Graphic Design Associates Degree in Art History
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My very first photography gig is probably one of my most memorable. Not everyone starts out photographing wedding. We learn using our friends and families. Before that I worked as an exhibit photographer at the Mystic Aquarium capturing Beluga Whale encounters. It was a very rewarding experience. After that I started my wedding ventures, while shooting Aeronautical photographs freelance and taking Kids Sports Photography. Eventually I build up my wedding and family portfolio and focus primarily on that. I love the personal relationships that I am able to build with my customers and the very many personalities I come across.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of customers. My customers come in all shapes and sizes, and from many different backgrounds. I do not discriminate based on nationality, religion, gender etc. Life is beautiful and being a photographer allows me to experience the many things that make people unique.
