Emil (who answered my initial phone call) is absolutely amazing!!! This business is the real deal. I called on Friday after having called another company and I wish I had just called these guys first. They really care about their customers and the difference between the two calls was remarkable. Emil listened to my concerns and he and David helped alleviate my biggest concern, which was a huge relief. They are truly wonderful people. On Sunday afternoon, David came (on time!) to fix my garage door and he did an amazing job. I didn't realize how badly my door was working before it stopped working completely. Not only does it work, but it also runs extremely smoothly and is much lighter when lifted manually. I also thought their pricing was very reasonable and they didn't try and sell me more than I actually needed. Definitely highly recommend.

I sent out a few quotes when my garage door broke down. Sarah was the first to reply and was quite responsive with her follow-ups. She knows her fair share about the garage doors and all the components that she was able to provide great recommendations based on my need and budget. Her quote was more than reasonable for the amount of work. She was also very patient and worked around my schedule so that I wouldn't have to take multiple days off from work. On the day of the installation, David called me early to confirm his arrival He showed up on time and was very professional. We ran into many issues because my garage was one of those old tiny Brooklyn garages that's not a standard size. He was quick on his feet and able to come up with all the fixes needed to make it work. He is super efficient, reliable and has a great sense of humor. I would not hesitate to recommend Emil Garage Doors to anyone that needs help.

One of the torsion springs on my garage door broke so I called Emil Garage Doors. They were very professional and straightforward. He gave me a ballpark repair cost over the phone sight unseen told me to disconnect the power to the opener to make sure no one accidentally tried to open the door and cause further damage, gave me an estimated timeframe to do the fix and a time when they would be there to fix it. I scheduled them to come out the next day and they called to let me know they were coming and showed up right when they said they would, had all the required parts on the truck, and did the fix in the estimated timeframe. They also serviced the door as part of their repair: check all parts for wear and damage, lubricate and adjust all moving parts. The door works great and is noticeably quieter and smoother than before.

Very happy with Emil Garage Doors, Sales & Repair. It was easy to schedule an appointment for routine maintenance. Emil contacted me just before his arrival, checked everything out, and took care of a loud noise the door was making when opening and closing. He also did a quick assessment of the door opener, which is old but still working, so he did not recommend replacing it till it stops working. Overall I was happy with the service and the price.

These guys were great. We had a mishap and backed into the garage door with a car. We live in a townhouse and Emil made sure to check that there were no issues with the HOA. They were able to come the same day, first thing in the morning with no additional charge. Partially because of their reasonable pricing, we upgraded to insulated doors and ended up replacing both at the same time. For two brand new doors and support assembly, they were done in less than two hours. They were quick, efficient, and professional. Can't recommend them enough.
