- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, we offer both hourly rates as well as package rates depending on how much time it will take to complete your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start off the relationship with a free phone conversation to discuss your area(s) of concern, discuss goals for your space, and answer any questions you may have. We will then meet for an in-person consultation in your home or office to determine the detailed scope of the work, the amount of time we estimate the project to take, and take appropriate measurements of your space. During the consult we ask a host of questions to determine your priorities are and how you live to insure we develop a plan that meets your specific needs. From here you can choose to schedule an organizing session(s) depending on the the number of hours it will take to complete the job. Following completion of the job, we follow up a month later to make sure everything is working for you!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Cheryl earned a Masters Degree and completed all Doctoral Degree coursework in Human Development/Organizational Behavior from Columbia University. She has also completed her National Association for Professional Organizers Coursework and has a Coaching Certification. With over 15 years of experience in large Fortune 500 companies, Cheryl worked as a leader of learning, organizational effectiveness, and leading change, where she worked with senior executives and their teams to maximize their effectiveness and performance. She is often invited to guest lecture across the U.S. to share her expertise in organizational behavior concepts. In addition to co-owning IT'S ORGANIZED, Cheryl is an Adjunct Professor of Organizational Behavior and Business Management, and has a professional certification in Coaching. With her vast background in understanding human behaviors, coaching, motivation and teaching methodology, she brings knowledge, experience and understanding to help others realize the benefits of being better organized. She can help you solve problems, overcome obstacles and reach your goals. Jordan earned her B.A. in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. She went on to become a leading publicist in the real estate industry representing companies across the country. For 15 years, she worked closely with some of the nation's premier real estate professionals including top architects, developers, designers and space planners providing her with a first-hand understanding of how to best utilize all types of residential and commercial spaces. This experience helped her seamlessly transition into a new role as a Manhattan-based professional organizer. Finding storage and space solutions in New York's tight living quarters was the ultimate hands-on experience, and she's excited to bring these skills to IT'S ORGANIZED's clients. She can help you think outside-the-box and create personalized systems to address your specific needs.
