FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My basic pricing guidelines can be found on my website. I go over exact pricing during my consultations as I like to have my clients meet me first, discuss how they want to display their memories, and also to show my clients their options in physical products by letting them touch everything in the studio.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process with a client who is interested in a portrait session is communication either via messaging or a phone call to get a basic understanding of what they are looking for in their photographer and session. The next step will be to schedule a date to get together for a free consultation to meet one another, go over pricing and products, and to plan out the photography session. If my clients enjoy the experience I provide and want to move forward, we will discuss a date to formally book the session day. Come session day, we will have fun in an organized way to capture what we had discussed during the consult. Within 1-2 weeks, we will schedule a reveal session to review your memories in which my clients get to select which images they would like to forever cherish whether it be wall art for their home, an album, prints, and/or digital images. After ordering, you can expect your artwork within 2-3 weeks; time is dependent on what is ordered. I inspect everything prior to your eyes seeing it, so you won't be disappointed. Business head portraits are a little different as they are pretty straight forward in what my clients are wanting and usually an in person consultation is not required. We will discuss details of their session either via message or a phone call and we will schedule a date for the session to be completed. Once we agree on a date, I will send my client my agreement information in where they will review and sign it so they understand what to expect from me as their photographer, after a retainer fee will be collected to hold the date. The day of the session, everything will be setup as discussed and the session will be captured. Directly after the session all images will be uploaded onto the computer and the client will be able to review/select which images they would like to be retouched. I do this so my clients know exactly we captured the look they were initially going for; if for some reason we didn't, we will continue the session until we get it right.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have invested over $5000+ worth of education whether it be mentorships, one-on-one training, online seminars, photography conferences, trade shows, etc. Areas of experience include use of professional lighting, newborn safety and posing, retouching software use, single subject posing, family posing, etc.
